A communications professional for over 25 years, Mark spent eight years creating video content at The College of New Jersey. As the Director of Athletic Communications, he produced over 100 videos, ranging from special presentations to program and event promos to thematic series features. He also spearheaded brand management, partnership sponsors, and special events. Mark utilized video to enhance the visibility and profile of the athletics program and transformed marquee events with high-quality video presentations. Mark developed his ability to story-tell and articulate messaging through listening, learning, and practice in the fields of communications, coaching, and writing. A former college athlete, he coached baseball at Princeton University and Rider University and was a professional instructor at the Dave Gallagher Baseball Academy. During that period, Mark authored or co-authored 14 sports reference and instructional books with multiple publishers, including McGraw-Hill, Scholastic and Contemporary Books (Published Books). In addition, he was a freelance writer for institutions of higher learning, providing website content and alumni magazine stories for TCNJ, Princeton University and Rider University. He continues to write for The Monmouth University Magazine.
Mark is currently employed by Major League Baseball as an official scorer for 25 games of the Philadelphia Phillies home schedule.
A graduate of Rider with a degree in communications, Mark was a four-year starter and Northeast Regional All-American for the Broncs baseball team. He also coached high school baseball and soccer.
